A quiet Sunday on Tortola
It was definitely one of those weekends that normal people who live on land and work 9-5 Monday to Friday have occasionally!
Our living room looked like this, and I moved from my ice cold freezing cabin with new a/c to the salon and the blow up bed! You have a pretty good idea of what Bazza did by this picture....
Perfect, just perfect!
Therefore not much news, I will just clean up a few things off my desktop that someone may be interested in. This picture of Roadtown was taken by Dougal Thornton back in 1984 of Roadtown. It was recently in the 25 year special edition of the BVI Beacon.
As was this article on chartering in general in the last 25 years here.
An article about Mooney Bay going to be developed on Virgin Gorda...
And a short and sweet with no depth article on private islands here..., again all from the BVI Beacon
This is a PDF copy from the same newspaper, of looking back over 25 years and some changes, that I thought had interest...
And this is a PDF that came around with information about the history of VISAR (as well as contacting VISAR) which stands for Virgin Islands Search and Rescue!
Noticed in the newspaper today that Lambert Beach Resort is up for sale in pieces or as a whole, as a whole I think they are asking about $35 million dollars. Here is a link to the listing if you would like to read more on it.
