Our guests this week like snorkeling. REALLY like snorkeling! They were gone for about an hour and half swimming around this morning, which put some of the younger members right back to sleep!

We had a great sail then over to White Bay on Jost Van Dyke for lunch. It is Soggy Dollars annual beach bar party and it was pretty busy. Mostly with runarounds with 15 people in them instead of the 6 there should be!

Unfortunately for our deck hand, no one wanted to go to the beach, not even for a drive by, so he just looked longingly at the shore for awhile.... Saw this sail cover, and glad i was not running around in a boat that spelled out cheap on the sail bag, but look how effective it is, I even put it on my blog!

There was some more relaxing...

and then the Predator came out for a few go arounds....

We then had another blistering sail and were going to make our way up to Brewers Bay for overnight, but we changed our mind, as the weather was going to be a bit more then we would have liked there. Instead, we did the fun pound into the seas to get up to Norman Island for the wave coming through tonight.
It was rough and wet. Enough said about that!
It was time for another long snorkel though at the Caves, and we did not see ONE jellyfish anywhere!

We had one that was feeling a bit seasick... (nice aren't I, taking pictures!)

We amused ourselves feeding the gulls for awhile,

And about that time the heavens opened up and it poured!! Lots of rain. Bazza said on the way over here this afternoon he was seeing 30-40 knots, so a bit rough. Glad to be over channel side though, as it means we don't have to do the wet ride back up now...

We managed to barbecue ribs in between the rain drops, and they were enjoyed immensely with caesar salad, brushcetta, and then freshly made vanilla ice cream with berries for dessert.

We have two anchors out tonight, and our second anchor is the Fortress that is on line instead of chain, just heard it drag, we must have just been hanging on it, but of course Bruce took up the slack when it got to that point! Could be an interesting soggy night.
I hope the guests choose to run the air conditioner tonight with all this rain!!
