I am not too sure if this will be the world most coherent blog post, as I appear to have fallen victim to my OWN game of Bushwackers (guess that is in them)...but that is ok, but two of the guys who have played this GAME 8 times did not get it right either! Either that or they like practicing.
Our mission today was to get from the Caves on Norman Island up to Bitter End. Does not sound that difficult does it? Well it is if you think that the wind was blowing twenty knots from the totally wrong direction! I am, was and still, am glad I am not a monohull watching them heal over! Do they really have to move the liquor on their shelves? How do they work a stove that is gimballed?

We stop at Cooper Island for lunch, the only calm spot in the day before continuing our pound up to the Baths. At which point the guests chose to go ashore and take a cab up to Leverick Bay. I wished I could join them to tell you the truth! Valiantly we continued on, to the megayachts of megayachts anchorage of North Sound.
this mega yacht, Skat, who really is only the 64th largest in the world was built by Lurssen in Germany and looks Militiary like, with the helicopter painted in the appropriate color as well. Owned by a software engineer of Microsoft (and you wonder why Vista costs so much money???_



Right next to it is Rising Sun, which is the 6th largest in the world...

Followed closely by Promenade, which is the billionth and third largest in the world! Great sunset anyways...

We played our games, we had some dinner, and now they have all gone to Saba Rock to play Shuffle board or some such ( I think they should be too young for that!) while I blog...

A couple odds and ends...

I understand that Money Bay on Norman Island has been switched by Jarecki from having high end Villas in Money Bay (our former almost favorite spot in the universe) to having Jarecki build his own villa there, with the breakwaters and docks artfully arranged so they only hold his sunseeker and nothing else. It all becomes clear now, even the environmentalists want the plebians away from their little space of land....

Received these in my inbox yesterday. I am not entirely clear of the value of receiving the plane schedule that is supposedly only vaild until January 3rd, 2009 on January 11th, but it is the islands and it may be helpful! Here is a link to a large full copy that you can read....


And, here is the ferry schedule along with costs which was released. I always check the day before, as even though the ferries have time slots and routes they are supposed to follow, believe me it does not always happen!
