It has been a pretty good fishing week all things considered! No, not this picture, this is a picture of a crocodile that a friend of ours up by Darwin in Australia took last week and sent on. And Bazza wonders why I don't want to move to Australia!

BUT, this is nice big large Mutton Snapper we caught off of Guana Island the other night. He was a big boy. They are called Moses Perch in Australia. We put him back!

My good friend Bob who reads the blog has been "fishing challenged" whenever he has been on the yacht, so I thought I would put up a few pictures of his good friend Nancy, kind of like a tutorial in how to catch these darn fish here. Something other then Barracuda! We have been joking that that is why we are catching fish, as the bad luck fisherman is not here this week! Look at this posture!

And Voila, after a very short time you have a Tarpon!

Our pro fishermen gave it a mermaids kiss for good luck and off it was sent back to the deep again!

While some (mostly the girls) really got into the fishing, others enjoyed laying and reading books...

This is just a picture of the cactus on Little Jost Van Dyke when I was out snorkeling at one time this week.

I was snorkeling around by the old brothel house behind Little Jost and was stirring up the scrubbly coral on the bottom to see what I saw (interesting as I did find a clay top off of a old dutch gin bottle in the scrubble) BUT these little fish, and I don't know what they are, kept on going into the hole I was making. Looking for food I know, but they sat there on the bottom not afraid of me at all.

This is Bazzas dream boat I think, the Ocean Fox which we have seen off of Jost VanDyke for a few years, I think it has something to do with lobster and Foxy, curious if anyone knows about it???

We did manage to play a silly cocktail game one night and everyone got some very silly Old people prizes!

Remember Lisa talked about Branson etc being up at Mountain Point? I just about had heart attacks watching these kids climb up the rocks and jumping into the water!!! Scared the hell out of me!

Necker Island is obviously putting in a bigger dock this summer, looking at all the activity there.

Not sure where I Took this picture, but this is the boat...

This is a current picture Of the non happening developments on Scrub Island.

Richie thought he was in the wilds of Peru and not in the Caribbean here! This is when we were going through the squalls and mini water spouts by Jost Van Dyke yesterday.

This is our guests taking off on a dinghy tour to take pictures of birds..

And this is just an interesting picture of trees that I took yesterday.

How do you like this dinner picture? They look so happy and giggly, it was a fun time....

and this is the same group the next night in the same place. Does not look the same! The rain was pouring like crazy and we had to put down all the blinds and rainguards which makes it pretty humid in the cockpit.

Tonight we are in West End, and boy it is humid!! No wind at all. I guess it is because we are between hurricanes! We were in town today, and took the opportunity to stop into the new Roadtown Wholesale Cash and Carry. It is much nicer then the older one, and we were fairly impressed with it!

The other thing we did today was go looking for new tenders (well, play toys, not tenders). I always tell Bazza I want a large one for going back and forth and there just happens to be a new one for sale on island, so we went to look at it. Who knows!

Bazza thought I could make myself happy with this one that fits into our budget quite nicely. I did not quite agree with him!

But, this one that was at West End would work as well...

The Tarpons loved our boat tonight considering we were the only one around!
