Fish pictures, SCUBA at Salt Island, BVI today

I was a tad bit ambitious with the laundry a couple days ago. We finally managed to take it down this afternoon as it poured cats and dogs until then! We did well getting all the hatches and windows sealed on the boat, no leaks though!

I got to go for a dive this afternoon! Two even. Not that I meant too.. We went over to Salt Island and I jumped in before we hit the anchorage, to see what was new. Only problem was there was a bit of a current and was having a tough time getting in. No problem though as I was equipped with horns, safety sausages and Bazza was going to come get me in the dinghy at an agreed upon time too!
I did not count on this pesky aggressive barracuda!

He would not leave me alone, no matter how mean I attempted to look toward him !

I finally was spooked and came up in early and then had to wait for awhile for Bazza to get me. He thought he heard the horn!

I was feeling ripped off by that pathetic dive, so I changed my tank when we arrived in the anchorage and jumped in. A couple little Sand Divers..

A squirrelfish looking very shy...

And this very interesting crab, that did have a whelk shell around it and then he was covered with all types of camouflage and anemones...



Also saw a golden spotted eel and a black and white one, but the pictures were not nice. I think I had my share of SCUBA this afternoon, and it was so nice to get in the water. I hear the ROV is going in the water tomorrow!
Did some generic cleaning and cleaning out today (always love to throw away stuff at the end of the season!)
Watched the Curious Story of Benjamin Button last night. Yep, I cried...Just what I needed, occasionally love to do that!
