I have a funny story today (I thought!) Brent went to one of the grocery stores in the East End to pick up a few last minute items before charter. He saw a sandwich counter with the women behind it. She basically ignored him for quite awhile and very uninterestedly said "what do you want" He asked if he could have 4 sandwiches, nicely thinking that he would bring back food for all of us. She replied, disinterestedly, "no, I only have one french loaf"
OK, Brent turns to go away and another women comes around the corner and says there is lots back there, and the sandwich women grumpily said "yeah, but what kind" (Note he had not asked for a specific kind...), when she was told both kinds, she slowly made up his sandwiches, sucking her teeth the entire time!
Brent comes back and wonders why she was grumpy...Getting close to Carnival, happens every year Brent! The sandwiches were very good though! We enjoyed them thoroughly and at $5.00 for a large sandwich almost a bargain on Tortola!
Anyways, we managed on the boat to get ourselves ready and down to West End to get our charter guests by late afternoon. We slept in until 10:30! That was nice. Bazza's knee was stiff and sore, but he says he can already tell it is tons better, except for the bruising..
This weeks guests are from Brazil! Some of them were last here in 1990, and we have 5 teenagers and 2 older ones. The water taxi cometh....

and docked up right onto Promenade...

Entry by front bimbo mats! Quite unusual!!

Most speak a little English, with a couple very good speakers, so it took awhile to go through the talk with translation, and we pulled out for a sunset sail. We had to leave, we were contemplating stay there overnight but the ferries were killing us with wake! It seemed worse then normal...

We had nibblies...

And as soon as we hit anchorage it was time for the younger members to hit the water, going on dark or not!

I like this swimmer in the foreground, sunset in the aft...

I am not sure what happened here! Water in the eyes? Water in the throat? Too Cold???

Every one sat down for a dinner of seared tuna, with particular raves about my strawberry and feta mushroom spinach salad, so that was nice!

Now it is fishing time, I understand a Tarpon made it to the back of the boat on a line, but not actually on the boat and no picture, so it does not count!
I understand there are some nasty sea wasps and box jellyfish making there way down the channel today. VISAR went out on several calls today to the Baths, Marina Cay and they have been reported at Manchioneel, the Bight...In fact they put out a notice in the paper saying people should consider staying out of the water today. It is that time of year, but they tend to travel together and sweep through, so hopefully they will not be here long.
