We had a stupendously wonderful day...We started with a trip to Bitter End and then we took off sailing... Amy hooked a couple fish, but nothing that came on the deck...

It was one of those perfect sails, lots of wind, but no water over the decks.

Bazza caught the smallest barracuda possible...

Simeon and Lynda expertly guided us in through the reef as we were going up to conch mountain on the East end of Anegada.

We did see boats out here still searching for the missing Haitians. Then after lunch it was off for all of us in a family outing in the dinghy...

We saw Conch mountain. I knew it had been here for decades, but did you know that it was mentioned as far back as 1700?? That amazed me!

Lots of birds around there as well.

Then it was off to the beach there. We tried a new tactic, instead of going around to where we could land on the beach we went to a closer one that we could walk in, as it was quite shallow...

Bad idea, as I will let these pictures show! you know that anegada quicksand that sucks you down?? Well we found lots! All I could do was stand on the beach and laugh!

Tiny little mangroves...

And we went for a walk.. Saw about ten eagle and sting rays today, that was nice..

Back to the boat we went and we jumped straight in the water...

A little Flounder...

I must have counted at least two dozen anemone at this one coral head we were around, also saw an eel swimming in the open and an ocean trigger fish! It was pretty.

Liked all the elements in this picture, although you can see how dirty the bottom of our tender actually is!

And I played with taking some split shots, before we picked our way out of the reef just in time and actually had a spinnaker run down to the Anegada Reef Hotel arriving about 6 PM, which was Bushwhacker time tonight!
