Our Swimmers had a good swim this AM at the Baths, it was wonderful as there was no cruise ships in! Then another bracing sail all the way up to Saba Rock and Bitter End for a bit of shopping, walking and hiking. This afternoons swim was going to be from Oil Nut Bay around to Deep Bay. There were some nice Hobie Cats up here sailing around this afternoon...

I was quite jealous as the swimmers saw baby turtles hatching on the beach at Deep Bay today, Green Turtles! That was exciting. I went in the water after they came back from their swim to see if I could see them, but they were gone.

Had a nice sunset swim though, watching the pelicans...

Taking pictures of Promenade anchored in the bay...

saw my favorite, an anemone...

and took a couple very nice pictures of the sunset and the palm trees.

Lisa will appreciate this (they have made it safe and sound to Papua New Guinea by the way and are seeing amazing things diving!) I thought I was being very clever, put my dinner in the oven and turned it on before I went snorkeling, only to come back an hour later to see the propane had run out while I was gone, very early on. Always the case on here! the guests and Simeon amused themselves waiting by playing Taboo and there seemed to be a lot of laughter!

Ribs and Rosemary garlic roasted potatoes tonight which the Texan pronounced good! They really do say "yippee cay yay yeah" in texas apparently!

The construction on Oil Nut Bay has started back up. I wonder how many docks we could possibly need in the BVI? Apparently one per bay....
And I say one per day as BVI news is running an article about Nail Bay putting in planning permission for a 52 slip marina and two artificial reefs, or as they call them, "innovative articial barrier reefs". I think I should reserve comment, but I will say that I hope they do a better job of that then they did of cutting the roads down to Nail Bay if they get permission.
