If bird watching is your passion, there are yacht crews in the BVI that will be happy to take you bird spotting. Although, you cannot find colorful parrots, you can find Egrets, Pelicans, Flamingo's and more! The Caribbean region has over 600 species of birds, including 22 species of seabirds, however population levels have decreased substantially. Here in the BVI we have 15 species of seabirds including Audubon's Shearwater, Red-billed tropical bird, White-tailed tropical bird, Brown Pelican, Brown Booby, Magnicficent Frigate, Laughing Gull, Gull-billed Tern, Sandwich Tern, Cayenne Tern, Roseate Tern, COmmon Tern, Least Tern, Bridled Tern, and Brown Noddy.
