Note: Secret Oasis was in the Voyager Fleet until the fall of 2010. I had a charter on this yacht in July of 2010 and the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the then chefs cooking very much, however, this is a new crew coming on board for the following season. They have shared some references from the charters they completed this winter on another one of Voyager's Yachts, which I have added onto the bottom of this page. This page was updated August 2010.

Adele and I would just like to introduce ourselves as the new crew on board the the Simonis 58' catamaran S/Y Secret Oasis for the the 2010-2011 season in the BVI.

We have just completed a season on board S/Y Wild Thing ll, also a Simonis 58' with Voyage Charters in the BVI so we are completely at home on Secret Oasis and are looking forward to entertaining new friends and guests!

I am sure that most of you are familiar with the yacht as she has been chartered in the BVI for a couple of years now. We have just a few more additions that we would have added to her so as to make her truly one of the best charter vessels in the BVI!

These additions are:
2 x Seedoo Sea Scooters ( For both Diving & Snorkeling!)
A custom made SUP ( Stand-Up paddle board) these are growing in popularity so much that it has been rated the fastest growing board sport in the world!
An array of new floating toys.
A state of the art Espresso and Cappuccino maker! Never worry about bad coffee again!
We will also be offering diving to certified guests and look forward to sharing all the best spots with them!
Satellite television. A must for Super-Bowl week!
St Thomas pick ups.
Possible down island options.
These additions are on top of the already extensive array of toys and gadgets on board from the 2 man kayak to the wind surfer and wake-board!

Adele and I are ready to make the BVI experience an unforgettable one, so lets set sail for your own Secret Oasis!

Referrals for Richard and Adele

From April, 2010
Ladies/Gentlemen,
It is with great pleasure that I share my knowledge of and friendship with Mr. Richard A. Smit. I have had the good fortune of spending some of the most wonderful days of my life, with my family, in the care of Richard and find him to be a young man of the highest regard.
I offer this glowing report and reference for Richard as an individual that has had the opportunity to interact with many young men throughout my adult life. I am a commercial building contractor in Va. Beach, Virginia and have had under my employ 150 to 200 men at any given time over the past ten years and Richard is one of a select few that warrant this praise. I have found Richard to be honest, forthright, and above all, a total gentleman in a time and a world where there are so few to admire. I wish and hope for a great future for this fine individual and hope that my kind words are received in the open and candid manner in which they are offered.
Should you ever wish to discuss this matter with me I am always available.
Respectfully Yours,

Kenneth M. Jones

From May, 2010
I wanted to let you know what a great time we had on our charter. We have done this trip four times and doubted that it could be even better than before, but we were wrong.
Richard "customized" our tour to make sure that we had new experiences daily. Adele was an excellent hostess and cook, and we felt very endeared to both of them by the end of the week. In fact, I just wrote their mothers a note to let them know how proud they should be! They are exemplary representatives for your company.
I also want to compliment Debs of Watertoys who led our dives. She also went out of her way to provide us with new and unique dive experiences, and she was kind enough to accommodate our snorkeling friends, as well. We look forward to future charters.
Sincerely,
Dr. Brenda Shirkey
We were fortunate enough to stay aboard the 60ft catamaran, Wild Thing II, for a seven day vacation with Richard as our skilled captain and Adele as our delightful hostess and chef. Richard’s expertise as a sailor and his detailed knowledge of the British Virgin Islands made for a fun-filled week. With four adventurous and active teenage sons, Richard was able to keep them busy all of the time. We were very impressed by Richard’s patience while teaching the boys how to wake board. He wouldn’t give up until all the boys were able to get up and experience wake boarding for the first time (he even got me up on water skies)! He also entertained them with water tubing and wind surfing. We all enjoyed sailing to some of the greatest places in the BVI’s for snorkeling, quiet beaches and even visiting some of the better known resorts along the way.

Adele’s cheerful personality created a relaxing and stress-free atmosphere. Her meals were delicious and enjoyed by all of us, even by some of my pickiest eaters. Every savory meal was beautifully presented and garnished with perhaps a sprig of mint or slice of lemon. Adele kept our catamaran looking beautiful and helped keep track of all of our personal belongings that our sons would leave hanging around. Our beds, of course, were made daily and the galley and dining areas were always immaculate.

Unfortunately, all goods things must come to an end and saying good-bye to Richard and Adele was something that we all dreaded. Some tears we shed and many hugs and promises to keep in touch were made. Now several weeks since we returned to the States, my boys still sit around the dinner table and reminisce about their BVI vacation. They miss Adele’s cooking and Richard’s big-brother camaraderie. We are grateful to them both for creating the lifetime memories that they have given to our family.

Warmly,
The Carrara family
