Lynn Griffiths, Captain and Mark Miles as Chef/ mate purchased Pacific Wave in June of 2008 and have spent the time since then bringing her up to a high standard. They graciously showed her off last week for brokers in the Brtish Virgin Islands.
Charter Yacht Pacific Wave is definitely a deep draft sailing yacht, with a keel of 12'10". She was originaly built in Italy in 1985, based on the Italian entry for the America's Cup in 1982, Azzurra. In fact, she used the spare mast from Azzurra, as well as her instrument panel is Titanium, identical to Azzurra.
In my opinion, Pacific Wave is a great boat for those who are more interested in the sailing aspect, either around the British Virgin islands, or throughout the Caribbean. She is ideally suited for passages, and one of her great features is that she can sleep 6 adults in totally separate beds, making Pacific Wave perfect for singles as well as families. Pacific Wave is very roomy inside with her 20' beam.

Pacific Wave is available ANYWHERE in the Caribbean with NO reprovisioning costs this season. They will be available up until August 31st, and then her plans have her laid up in the new marina in Grenada for the months of September and October. Next season, they would love to base out of the Virgin Islands area.
They are additionally offering a current day rate, for groups: Coffee, croissants, three course lunch, teas and pastries, rum punch $2000.00. For day sails they are rated up to 12 guests.
Lynn and Mark have made it their mission to go visit all the local bars, restaurants and tourist attractions on each island in the Caribbean (it is a tough job, but someone has to do it!) all the better to point their guests in the right direction while cruising.
