NAUTICAT OF FOWEY 47 Feet. (2005), Robertson and Cane
Sleeps 6 Guests in 3 queens, operating mainly out of the Southern Caribbean

Ali and Bill (he is Irish and she is English) purchased their 47' Leopard at the end of November 2011. One month later they were doing their first crewed charter in the Grenadines. Considering they had not been to the Grenadines before that month, the fact that the guests could not tell it was their first charter speaks to their professionalism.
Nauticat of Fowey (as their yacht is named, after FOWEY in the UK, where Ali owned and operated a very successful and award winning Bistro...and where they met!) takes up to 6 guests in 3 queen sized cabins. They have already spent a fair bit of time upgrading their yacht to charter standards.
The new soft furnishings came for the cockpit, a watermaker was installed, a new dinghy was purchased, and they made their way up to the British Virgin Islands last week to have a new bimini, stack pack etc. installed as well.

The bimini was just installed the morning that they had graciously invited local brokers on board to view her..and you could bounce quarters on the bimini it is so new and tight! The pictures here do not show the new stack pack, which will be installed in a couple days. They also have enough material left over to change the sunstrip on their genoa sail as well.
Next up on the agenda are changing out all the heads so they have electric pumps on them, and new upholstery for the salon table too.
They were both gracious, and I think perhaps Bill's Irish roots come out in his personality! He kept our glasses topped up...Ali fed us well, with things such as chicken caesar salad toasts, goat cheese, leek and mushrooms wrapped in phyllo, capriccio of beef with carmelized onions and a mustard cream on toast...Yes, I paid attention to the food! After all it was almost dinner time....

Their yacht is clean, and smells good (always important)
They are specializing in the Grenadines, but also will be chartering in the Virgin Islands.
Having owned a restaurant, Ali's passion IS food, and they hope to appeal to "foodies". She says she is very happy pottering around in the galley making wonderful meals....
They have put together several different packages for their charters, and are happy to custom make a package as well if theirs do not suit...
Everything from Captain only ranging from $6090. in low season, to fully gourmet crewed in high season for $9800.00 (based on 6 guests, 7 nights)
They are happy to tailor make itineraries, for instance, if you would like to do a one way charter from St Vincent to Grenada, depending on what you are looking for.
I found them very engaging, one of those couples that you felt quite at home with right away. They are very excited about their new life chartering in the Caribbean, and plan on offering around 12 or so charters a year, so they still have lots of time to explore and to keep themselves fresh as well...
