Privilege 45 Catamaran

Bruce and Laura Masterson

November 14, 2009
The St. Thomas Boat Show is over and we were pleased to have so many brokers visit us on AMARYLLIS.

Perhaps the most important issue is ‘how does the crew add value to the charter experience’. Bruce and Laura have been sailing in the Virgin Islands since 1979 and we take pride in our local knowledge.  We can create a sailing itinerary to match clients’ interests whether it is finding a secluded anchorage or the liveliest beach bar, seeing turtles or snorkeling a wreck, shopping or visiting a historical ruin, or finding the best place to watch the sun set.  We raised two kids on boats so we are very comfortable with families and kids of all ages.  We know how to keep the kids entertained and the parents relaxed and worry-free.

The most often asked question at the boat show is "What's new on the boat'.  Here is a list of what we've done since purchasing the boat in July 2007 followed by a recap of our boat specs.

Recap of AMARLLIS SPECS

LAYOUT
AMARYLLIS has 4 staterooms with standard double berths and three heads.  The two forward double staterooms have en suite heads/showers.  The two aft staterooms have en suite sink/vanity and share a head.  The crew occupies one stateroom and we can accommodate 6 guests in the remaining three staterooms but the layout is ideal for parties of four (couples or families).

When we have two couples on board, each couple gets a forward stateroom with en suite head (identical accommodations). The crew occupies an aft stateroom and uses the aft head.

When we have families of four on board, the parents get the forward stateroom with en suite head and each child has their own stateroom aft with en suite sink and share a head. The crew occupies the other forward stateroom with en suite head.

The guests get the best staterooms for their needs and the crew occupies the remaining stateroom.

TOYS: windsurfer with two rigs (beginner and advanced), two person kayak, towing tube, skurfer, pool floats, and hammock.

DIVING:  Rendezvous only

ENTERTAINMENT: TV in the main saloon with DVD player, iPod dock, and CD player (with speakers in main saloon and cockpit). We have selection of DVDs, books, and CDs on board.
